Where bookings slip
- A call comes in during a paint correction. By the time you call back, they've booked someone else.
- "How much for ceramic on a Tahoe?" depends on the size and the condition, so the answer waits until you can look at it.
- Photos of the paint arrive across texts, DMs and email, with the address for a mobile job in a different thread.
- A quote goes out for a coating or a full tint and nobody checks in.
- After a great job, nobody asks for the review the next customer will read.
What changes when PMI runs it
- Calls get answered in your shop's name while you're working. The line takes down the vehicle, the service, the condition and, for mobile jobs, the address, and texts it all to you. It gives starting prices only if you set them.
- Missed callers get a text back within a minute once texting is approved, with a way to send photos.
- Photos and questions land in one thread on text or WhatsApp, so you can quote from your phone between jobs.
- Every quote gets followed up until it books or the customer says no, and the booking blocks the right amount of time for the service.
Quote faster before you add anything
A few decisions make every quote quicker, with or without PMI. Set starting prices by vehicle size for your main services. Decide which photos you need to quote a correction or a coating. Write down how long each service blocks your day, and whether you take mobile jobs and where. If you take deposits, put the policy in writing, and keep collecting them the way you do now: PMI sets up the messages, not the payments.
